Sub-processors & data processing
This page lists the service providers Taelo Limited (“Taelo”, “we”) uses to run the product, and explains how we use AI to help you work with your CRM data. We are the controller for your workspace data and enter into a data-processing agreement (DPA) with each of the sub-processors below. A DPA for your own workspace is available on request at hello@taelo.net.
How we use AI
Taelo uses a large language model (an “AI”) for a set of optional, assistive features — for example, summarising a contact, drafting a reply, scoring a lead, or writing outreach copy. When you use one of these features, the relevant CRM data for that record (such as a contact’s name, company, and recent activity) is sent to our AI provider to produce the result. We do not use your data to train any third-party model.
Our AI provider is an AI gateway that routes each request to an underlying model provider. Those model providers may be located outside the European Union (for example, in the United States), so using an AI feature can involve an international transfer of the data in that request. We select our gateway on this basis and keep the underlying providers under review.
Turning AI off
AI features are optional. A workspace admin can turn AI off completely for the whole workspace under Settings → AI. While it is off, no data is sent to the AI provider and the AI features are simply unavailable — the rest of Taelo (contacts, companies, deals, pipelines, tasks, import and export) works exactly as before. You can turn it back on at any time.

We keep this list current. When we add or change a sub-processor that processes personal data, we update this page. For the specific legal entities and regions applicable to your workspace, request the DPA at hello@taelo.net.
